Measurement is read in just 1 second with an audible beep sounding when this is complete. A night mode silences this beep. No skin contact is required to receive a temperature measurement, minimizing the risk of cross-contamination. This device features an easy-to-read backlit LCD display, 30-reading memory and auto-off function to conserve battery life. It works using two “AAA” batteries.
